Julia Wilkinson

Julia Wilkinson is a two-time Canadian Olympian turned strategic communications professional. She is currently the Director of Executive Communications at Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC), where she develops and implements communications strategies for the company’s C-suite executives. A nearly ten-year veteran of CTC, she has held progressively senior roles across brand and corporate communications since joining the company in 2016. Prior to CTC, she held marketing communications roles with the Toronto Pan Am and Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015) and Nike Swim.

A decorated competitive swimmer, Julia represented Canada at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2012 London Olympic Games. Over her swimming career, she won 22 Canadian national titles, three Commonwealth Games medals, and became Texas A&M’s first-ever NCAA champion in swimming. In 2016, she was inducted into the Texas A&M Athletic Hall of Fame.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Texas A&M University and a Master of Communication Management (MCM) degree from McMaster University. She currently lives in Toronto.
